Meet Rosie! I was in Downtown, Chattanooga on a super busy 4 lane street, when I spotted a dog eating garbage right in the middle of the 4 lanes of traffic. Most people zoomed passed her, but I and a few others could not. A nice officer was even trying to help me catch her! Finally she was trapped in a yard! There was a tag with a number, so I called to let them know their dog almost died! They didn't seem upset at all! But said bring her home. So I dropped by to see why in the world she was loose and if they needed help or a rescue to take care of her. She was not in the best shape. I explained that she needed to be seen by a vet ASAP because she was limping. Then he said, "Oh she is pregnant too! This is her 3rd litter in a proud voice!" (I wanted to puke! She is only a year and a 1/2!) I offered to take her to the vet and take her in to rescue. He agreed thankfully! She has been abused according to someone who works with the owner. I could see with my own eyes, she was majorly neglected. In her dog food/water bowls she only had chips and milk! ugh That's all behind her now and she will have a great life now! I will make sure of it! =) She does well with most dogs and cats. But doesn't seem to like larger dogs for some reason. So if you have dog(s), they will need to be under 50 pounds. She is right at 28 pounds, she's been groomed, microchipped, shots are up to date, heart worm negative, on prevention (Which she must remain on all of her life) and is now spayed. She was spayed because it was too dangerous for her to have a 3rd litter at her young age. Her adoption fee is $250, which is waaaay less than what I have paid. She has had several vet visits, and a grooming (which was $70), She is worth every penny though! Rosie will only be adopted to an approved and loving home! All vet records and her collar will be given to the adopter at the time of adoption.
